Andrew & Marlene met briefly ‘on the mats’ in the mid 1990’s and not long after life took them in very different directions. Years later they were reunited and eventually tied more than just a belt knot.
After closely studying several martial arts styles Andrew zeroed in on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and began training in earnest (as in … all the time). As his interest and skill grew he began competing at local BJJ tournaments.
Marlene who has always been a creative and health-minded kitchen enthusiast began to experiment with different healthy, delicious snacks to get Andrew through those long tournament days. Food for battle!
After several test batches and sharing with teammates — they became affectionately known as Submission Snax.
Finally after years of testing and refining in the toughest of arenas - Submission Snax are available to everyone.
